My car was broken into last night. I'm not sure they even had to break into it... the doors may have been unlocked. It's rare that I forget to lock the doors, so I don't know. No windows were broken, though, so unless the people are running around with whatever gets you into locked cars, the doors were unlocked. Oh freaking well.
Anyway, the person or persons did not get much. The only thing of note I know that is gone is my old Xbox, four controllers, and Halo 1 and Halo 2. They were in my backseat because they were used at an all night New Years thing at my church. I can replace Halo 1 and 2 for $30 just by going to Best Buy, so that's no big deal. The Xbox hurts a little bit, mainly because I'd feel better hauling that around than a 360 whenever split screen multiplayer opportunities arise, but whatever. Those opportunities are rare.
They went through my glove box and middle compartment, but I'm not sure anything of value was in there. I have placed a fraud alert on my credit file in case they try to get me with ID theft.
2009, yeeha!
