I wish :(

Girlfriend is dragging me out to some stupid house party.  Would rather be playing Xenoblade.

I have never been "out" for New Years Eve. I just have stayed home every year of my life. :doge

Yeah, that's totally fine and makes a lot of sense, but I'll just add I think it's worth going out at least once or twice in your life to experience the social side of a NYE. Like go crazy one year and go to Times Square or something.
Yeah it's something you oughta do at least one time.

Going to a friends' house but leaving around 10pm so the kid can get to bed.

We'll stay up for midnight at home, though. Legal pot and champagne.

I don't think I've ever gone out for New Years (except once now that I think about it).

Probably won't change anytime soon.

The night has pretty much gone as I expected it to- we went out and got some takeout and the wife decides to drink champagne with the meal.  I didn't pay attention to how much she drank, but she was absolutely plastered pretty quickly and couldn't even stand up straight when she done eating.  Went from happy, fun drunk to pissed off drunk. (I refused to go back out to buy some shit she wanted and then wouldn't let her drive by herself) Fortunately this lasted just a few minutes because she passed out on the bed.  She woke up a little while ago and was back to normal and feeling nauseous, and has since returned to sleep.  Gonna see how she's doing before midnight to see if she's finally coherent enough to ring in the new year.

Me?  I finished off the second Chappelle special and have been reading and watching stuff online.  Pretty relaxing, actually.  :lol

I did jack shit. Finished a car show that folks around here hate, torrenting the second season. Should start up Magic Mike XXL to start off the year :supergay but I'm thinking of going to bed.

Boy toy popped up to say Happy New Year to me and he's about the only one that has/had. So...  :doge :-[

Met my friends at the club, and it was all 40-60 year olds... so weird. I think there was one Asian lady there who was 70+ walking around with a cane, there was a guy who had a heart attack and paramedics needed to be called in... the music was pretty good at first, all the 90's NY hard house classics I grew up with, but then the DJ was playing reggaeton which is my least favorite music ever  :-\ Drink selection sucked, there was open bar but the mixed drinks were watered down and the beer they had was bud/coors/corona. Still managed to have fun.

When reggaeton comes on, I feel like you are obligated to engage in daggering
