I got the "survived 500K" thing on Geometry Wars. I think that puts my gamerscore all the way up to 605.

I played that Doritos advergame, and got 11 of the 12 achievements after about an hour of play. It's quite fun once you get used to the controls.

Went back to the Doritos game, got that other achievement, and thus my first completed X360 game of 2009. It's not much, but it's a start, I suppose. I'll be back at Gears 2 tomorrow...

I actually WANT to play that game multiplayer; the chase-and-be-chased dynamic seems pretty fun, in a sparse, pac-man-homage way. But it's local only!

Yay, Groo is as frolicsome as I am.

I have successfully downloaded the free holiday content they posted (custom video and snowglobe theme), but I have not tried any songs yet. I'm kinda married to Rock Band for music purchases.

That said, I've had no luck figuring out how to access the DLC I have. Songs are probably dead simple, but accessing the play-style options for each song can happen in a couple places.

Update: No.

I've found something more annoying than "This item is not available from your current location."

MS allowing me to buy something and then not letting it show up in the game is a LOT more annoying. I bought a song last night, the MS Marketplace points were subtracted, it downloaded, but in the game it doesn't show up. In the official Lips forums, a lot of people are having this problem.

More on LIPS (read: "Moron Lips") - MS Support said to delete my DLC and re-download, and failing that I should delete my save game data. I have a MU, so I just moved the save data off HDD and then pulled the MU so there was no chance of the the game finding it. Neither option worked.

I thought I had bought the US version of the game through play-asia, but looking at prices, it looks like I bought the Asian version.

Another LIPS player mentioned that DLC is show in-line with existing ROM-based songs in the music managing Get Music screen -- but nothing thing from Marketplaces shows up there. I'm thinking that my Asian-version LIPS just doesn't see anything from the US-region Marketplace...It would be a first for me, but does anyone know if DLC can be locked to a specific region game, or DLC from a specific region's marketplace?
