well, then it might have been the demo that was just early or something. It was iffy in the cave section, but when I went outside it just all fell apart, especially when crouching through the grass. The claim of Turok being better than Resistance 2 probably still stands. At least I was able to take 4 shotgun blasts at point blank to kill someone, so it's a lot less annoying.
The controls are odd because it's like they didn't use any acceleration or made the acceleration zone too large. I turned the sensitivity way down and it made things in my immediate vision fine, but turning took forever. It wouldn't have been such a big problem if the pov wasn't so close up.
and I like playing lower quality games and all, but I guess I can't tolerate it in shooters when I feel that the controls are an annoyance.
