not sure why im not in hospital. just been loaded with penicillin and some stuff to keep my temperature down. there's a chance i have glandular fever but probably not. wont know for a few days so until then im spending the time in bed watching the cricket

my temp in celcius is 40.5 btw

i think if i was going to die the doctor wouldn't have said go home and rest and take some penicillin + paracetamol. the temp was when i was in the docs office

The problem with me is that I'm not one of those people who gets minor colds throughout the year. I usually rarely get sick and then when I do I get hit hard.

i went to the doctor cause i felt like shit. there i found out i had a high fever, i got some drugs and im home sleeping under a fan. life is good

If you go to the hospital you might have to wait two/three hours anyway without a doctro's note. Call the ambulance if you have to if you're feeling verybad, if they don't think you're serious atleast you'll get a ride to the hospital.

It like this if you're serious they'll take you, if it's not they won't. But if you're on the threshold or your illness is unknown to cover their own arse they will offer you a lift.

i never get fevers... ever. i didn't even get one when i had a wicked infection that was eating away at my kidneys last year. i think my body's warning system is fucked up.

i dont have one by i might go to the chemist in the morning and get one for curiosity sake. been having cold showers and feel a lot better

this is like my first serious fever too, i usually just get the flu.

40.5 is high-grade feverish, but it's not quite hyperpyrexia. I'm surprised you're posting, Pilon. Last time I had a bad fever, I was tripping out for hours on a Faith No More poster next to my bed $:-\$

the 40.5 was taken at 9am yesterday via an ear thermometer at the docs. after then i was taking paracetamol to keep it down

fever is basically gone today but i still feel like shit.
