Oh I'm not otaku or anything.  I just recognise my faults when it comes to socialising and stuff. Like I have some immature entitlement issues, and after reading up on it I began to notice alot of gamers have them too.  They've invested their lifes into a hobby so that they almost NEED someone to make their entertaintainment for them, and if they don't get it they feel "abadoned".  So personaly, I'm not going to let myself get in a hissyfit that nintendo isn't making a new fzero because based on SALES NUMBERS it makes sense to not commit resources there.  Alot of hardcores however, take the simple acts of fiscal responsibility as an affront to their "way of life". While waiting for new releases in the meantime I'll just keep on Smashing and checking my turnip prices daily.

The problem is that I haven't really been a big Nintendo fan since the SNES days, so I'm not in a position to feel abandoned and I damn sure don't feel entitled to anything.

However, my expectations are that Nintendo can provide me at least one good game per calendar year, which is something they couldn't even manage to do in 2008.  That's just sad.

What's even sadder is that piss poor list of games, some of which won't come out here, that Oblivion trotted out.  Like I said, Nintendo has abandoned its audience.  They will rely almost entirely on Wii Sports 2 and catalog sales in 2009.

When I spend $250 on your system then yes I do expect you to provide a minimum amount of software that I might purchase.  Unfortunately, Nintendo has gone well below the minimum.  No rational person would spend a cent on anything if they didn't expect to get a certain amount of "utility" out of it, so I don't know what kind of ridiculous point you are trying to make.
