I don't think I've ever heard a rapper who raps as BAD as Young Jeezy but so damn entertaining. His lyrics truly show why rap music should be respected as much as other genres

There are plenty of rappers way worse than him, but they don't have any lyrics that make me laugh or take note. Jeezy is like a rapping version of Ed Wood

Young Jeezy is like a hilarious drug-selling comic book character. He gave some interview after the release of his first major album where he referred to his music as motivational speaking, which is hilarious when you consider that his first album is like, uniformly songs about SELLING DRUGS.

And yeah, he's a pretty lousy rapper, but he's entertaining and funny. He's also fond of those really cheesy synthesized horns that are so awesome to listen to. Not to say he doesn't have legitimately good songs:

I must say I'm impressed that he was able to go platinum with his second album. Not many rap artists today are able to follow up their past success with more success...I'm looking at you Game
