Party tonight. Our friends who got married recently went to Maui on their honeymoon and throwing the wedding party a thank you party with lots of pineapple wine and food. I've never had pineapple wine before, but it sounds wrong.

Gonna do some work at home, watch NFL playoffs and play Dissidia tomorrow afternoon, and then go see The Wrestler with the wife and then go out for dinner.

Sunday, watch more NFL playoffs, more Dissidia and more work from home.

I've spent the whole weekend staying up until 5 AM watching TV shows. I finished season 2 of The Big Bang Theory, the 12th episode airs this coming Monday. I also watched the first 6 episodes of How I Met Your Mother and NPH is my hero. MY LEGENDARY HERO. Aside from TV shows I played a little bit of Titan Quest, Civ4, and Mount & Blade.

I don't feel like I wasted my weekend at all...

I have to go to class. It's nice to finally be doing something after five months of nothing, but Saturday morning classes at 8am sucks. :'( At least it's just one class and then freedom. Hopefully someone will drop the weekday class and I can get in then next week...

Yesterday night: Went out to a trendy little Greek/Mediterranean restaurant in town and played MVC2, Skyblazer, and StarTropics 2 with a friend.

Today: Gym, then going to another friend's housewarming party for his co-op. His g/f is gonna be there and she's an alcoholic, so he doesn't want any alcohol though

Tomorrow: Play Vesperia and StarTropics 2 all day.

Friday night: got drunk and went to a Scenester nightspot, lmao'd at ironic hipster dancing to old timey music

Saturday: got my secret santa gift from Cohen so was super stoked about that. Went to my friends place to watch a one-day cricket match of New Zealand playing the West Indies, but the game was abandoned due to rain

So we just got some beers, smoked a huge joint and had a giant multiplayer Wii/Gamecube marathon. Played Wii Sports, Warioware Wii (super fun with 9 people), Warioware Gamecube which is still one of the greatest multiplayer games ever. Soooo much fun. We also played some F-Zero GX and Rez. Then we watched Nathan Barley, such a great show.

Sunday (today): posting on Evilbore, then just tidying my bedroom and doing laundry and all that good stuff. Then I'll probably get into some Crackdown. Just picked it up for real cheap so very keen to see what the fuss is about.

today's been ok so far. woke up at like 2pm feeling a lot better (but still a small fever and congestion, not the flu though I had it tested), went to the post office to mail some stuff I sold on ebay, now about to go pick up some thai take out.

tonight I'm gonna play some games and then watch the live broadcast of the GOMTV/Intel Season 2 Starcraft matches from Korea at like 4-5 in the morning, and then sleep in again until god knows when.

The program was all kinds of fucked up; basically I needed to have taken classes that were not even listed beforehand. SMH.

Well, dropping everything now means no money was spent, so the only real loss here is time; if I had known it would have been like this, I could have applied elsewhere or started looking for jobs like 2-3 months ago. If I hadn't already graduated and quit school like this, things would be quite different! I don't think IT is probably for me anyway. Thinking about going to a career counselor for some advice. I still have no idea what the hell kind of career I want.

That school sucked, too. I liked my previous university a hell of a lot more. Plus being in an undergrad class was so weird...it was like I was the old man in the room. So much immaturity. I was teaching kids just a little younger than these guys just a little while ago!

But I guess I also could have remained in Japan. Thing is, things were looking a lot worse there than here...
