If those animaniacs sets found they're way to my stocking this year i'd be happy. Along with the pinky in the brain sets that would be some good cartoons. I know i'm gonna have to watch the damn pirates movie sadly all holiday long.

Anything good coming out the week after this.

spoiler (click to show/hide)
Beerfest is my guilty sin movie if its cheap i'll have to get it. Loved the movie.

POTC 2 is hitting nothing for now (blueray when/if Disney decides though) and Miami Vice is hitting HD-DVD

I'll pick up Miami Vice sometime down the line, to see if I like the director's cut any better than the sub-par theatrical... :-\

Holy shit, what an awesome week.  Something for everyone in there.

wtf, Charlie Chan Volume 2?!  I didn't realize Vol. 1 was out already.

The Saturday Night Live Season One set is landmark DVD release.  That must have been licensing nightmare.  I hope it sells well enough that they do the rest of the series, at least the first seven or eight years or whatever.

POTC2 I'll probably buy, even though I haven't seen it yet.

Probably end up renting a lot of the rest of the releases this week.  I really need to see Beerfest.  Oh and Club Dread > Super Troopers.

Phoenix Dark: If you looking for Season one-three of 24 Target usually has them on sale every few months for 20 bucks or so. Just keep an eye out if you want it.

The studio behind it said it was a very costly mess to get EVERY song and they need to meet a high sale amount to get going on season 2 so everyone needs to buy this set, regardless if they are into classic SNL or not.

It's amazon sales rank isn't that amazing nor do I see much hype for it on various DVD boards I go to.  :-\

Yea, I think I'm going to get it. I really have seen little to none of early SNL and I'm curious about it. I'm surprised it's not being hyped up.

I might jump on that SNL set is if it's the right price.  40 or bust.

Its $45 on Amazon. You can't expect 40 or under for this. Its 26 episodes of a 90 minute long show plus it has all those insanely costly musical numbers.

SEASON FIVE MOTHERFUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

I can finally finish it and catch up, AND get the fuck ready for Season Six of the Jack Bauer Power Hour. HOLY FUCK :D:D:D:D

I might pick up the unrated cut of Miami Vice (after further review of the film, I have to side with Shake on this one, the film was decent but nothing more), and possibly Beerfest, because Beerfest was pretty funny.

If I were you, I might go with the theatrical cut. Unless you would enjoy more scenes with Gong Li speaking heavily broken english, a flashy boat race, and more shots of Colin Farrell looking angry, that is. :-\

I need an EvilBore exclusive Rating of Awesomeness on Beerfest.  This test will prove that I'm a lazy fuck and let the internet decide whether or not I want to watch it.

Already bought it (Had an expiring FYE discount last thursday, and they were breaking the street date, so...) Great set, too. Well worth it.
