I'm saving that for the remake (I've actually never played any of the original Saga games and Romancing Saga games). I guess I'm playing Unlimited Saga because I have it on hand.

I actually had fun with Unlimited SaGa for a while. I managed to grok the systems via heavy faq study and was doing okay until I got near one character's endgame and got hit with ridiculous encounter rates and balance issues.  It was like experimenting with paint thinner.

I read a faq (purely game mechanics) and wow did that send my head spinning. I think I've got a bit of a handle on how I should handle upgrades to Panel skills and whatnot. Its fun in a "offbeat gameplay" way.
