I've been meaning to do this thread for a while now, never got around to it.

Anyway, so there's like stuff you're supposed to do, right? Still never gets done. My car inspection ran out in November. My license plate registration expired last week. Now in NC I think they're interconnected, so I need to get my car inspected in order to renew my registration. Been meaning to do that, of course, but when I get off work I really don't want to waste time in some dingy auto shop.

Then there's my contacts. I got my last exam back in September 06, and contact prescriptions are only good for a year here. I got a year's supply of contacts shortly thereafter, and since I always wear them longer than advised, I'm still on the last pair now. Been meaning to go for a new exam, too. That reminds me, I don't think I've ever been to the same eye doctor twice in a row. Probably because I always go forever between exams.

I seriously wish there was a mechanic or something literally right next door. Or maybe they can come pick up my car and bring it back when they're done.

After that, I'd have to find a way to get an eye exam while I'm working.

I am in EXACTLY the same situation with my contacts right now. It's eerie. I do go to the same doctor every time, though, since his office/house is 4 houses down the street.

Where do I start?  Let's see, I got a bunch of cash for Christmas to buy a new computer, which I've wanted since FOREVER, yet I still haven't ordered it.  I want to go get some new clothes since I've been wearing the same shit for about two years.  I want to go get a car stereo that I can use with my ipod... that I bought a year and a half ago.  I also need to schedule appointments with a dentist and an eye doctor since it's been about three years since I've seen either (vision's getting pretty bad right now).  Also I have some overdue library books, I keep meaning to pick up my guitar again, and I'm basically down to beans and lentils because I haven't been grocery shopping in so long.  All of which I will take care of at some point, just not now.
