You do know that modafinil prescriptions get handed out relatively quickly to adults, right?  Modafinil would make pulling all nighters completely effortless, and to Malek, they also help with insomnia, except you have to take it like 12 hours before your desired bedtime.

I did a few years ago. They worked, but they made me feel drowsy all day.

I should at least be using my time productively, but I'm just playing guitar hero and surfing basketball forums.  :-\

You should see about modafinil.  It doesn't induce sleep like other prescriptions.  It induces wakefulness, but on the "come down," about 10-12 hours later, you get natural tiredness.  You might have to jump through a hoop or two to get it, and the timing of the dosages is mildly inconvenient, but it's natural sleep you can dial in.

Just saw your response:  You haven't used modafinil in the correct way to produce sleepiness.  Have you considered giving it a correctly dosed shot?

I should probably see the school doctor again, but I don't know whether he'd prescribe it. Have you had personal experience with modafinil.

I didn't take it regularly because I had a small supply and really didn't have the money to spend on more

I had similar problems, but I just started drinking hard liquor 'till I get tired.

I just looked in the mirror, and it appears that I'm having a major acne breakout. Out of nowhere.

Forgive the following hypostatization, along with self-pity, but Life is against me.  :gloomy

I feel ya, ever since I moved down here. I haven't been able to sleep very well. Probably because it's a smaller house and I can hear EVERYTHING here. :P

Oh, as for the acne... me too. Nice big red one above my eyebrow. :lol

False alarm on the acne; I guess I was starting to see things. Luckily I slept during the day.

the past ±2 weeks, i haven't gone to bed earlier than 3am. and it takes me way to long to fall asleep.

last night i went to bed at 3:30am and i was still up at 5:30

birds started chirping and that kept me up even longer
