Surround Sound Systems

I'd really like to just go for another all-in-one surround sound system because I don't want to go through the trouble of picking out a receiver and the speakers separately. At the moment I also still live at home so I don't want to go for anything long-lasting or high-end. I was looking at the best selling surround sound systems at Best Buy and found one that caught my eye:

This system is better than my current almost 5-year old system and the size seems like it would fit in the place of my old speakers. I could quite frankly care less about the up-scaling DVD player since I have a PS3 that plays blu-rays and upscales with the best of em. It has the HDMI output that I want to connect to my television and has a larger overall wattage than my old system so it would definitely sound like an upgrade.

The only thing I'm wondering about is whether or not it could process or support/switch HDMI audio like everyone was talking about in the beginning of the thread. With my curret set-up, I have my receiver connected to my television through an optical cable. I'm able to get PCM out of my Playstation 3 but I know I could get a higher quality signal and sound through HDMI. Would this be a good receiver for what I'm looking for (decent price-range for an all-in-one and an HDMI input)?
