Okay, show of hands, who thinks that this "man step" would be useful if you had to go in and out of a truck bed for hauling stuff to and from your day job?

Apparently, Ford is just as amused as I am over GM pimping a competitor's feature.

Quote from:  Doug Scott, truck marketing manager for Ford
"I hope they keep running the spot because they’re doing a great job advertising that feature for us.Thirty-two percent of the 2009 F-150s we’ve sold have that tailgate step. We’re doing really well with it, and we’re really happy they’re running that ad because it’s proven to be a popular feature."

Desperation much, GM?  >:(

The failure in this one comes from the fact that the Silverado's upscale badge-engineered twin, the GMC Sierra Denali, can be ordered with a heated steering wheel.

Oh GM, and you guys wonder why you're in trouble...  >:(

I love how overwhelmingly stupid the whole idea behind that commercial is in the first place.  :lol

I expect Toyota to copy that feature if they don't have it already.
