I was probably on the news and crazy showed up at city hall

I got dragged to a protest at city hall today for a reform to BARC (City of Houston's pound organization).  It was to petition the council to vote for a no-kill initiative. 

I didn't even want to be there although I do support the action.  TV camera crews showed up and started filming and I tried to cover my face with the sign.  Fuck.

Then we sit in on the city council meeting and we listened to a bunch of stupid complaints and then a diamond in the rough...

He started freaking out and yelling about how the city council works for him and they're all corrupt.  Then he said he's running for Mayor and before he left he yelled something about Houston building a soccer stadium and taking the World Cup

It was hilarious

And when our issue finally came up on the agenda, the Mayor just walked out.  What a waste.
