Is it more Ninja Gaiden, Otogi, Heavenly Sword, or none of the above?

Playing the demo reminded me that the Otogi games had really generic combat and it was the environment destruction and visuals that brought it up.  I guess in NB it's the QTEs and visuals trying to lift it up?

demo wasn't bad but was more like $20 pick up down the line.

Otogi game had fine combat because of how elegantly you could move around the world.

How's the story Dc?

Is it like, Ninja Scroll kind of cool, or it's just crap?

The core mechanics were more like a final fight beat-em-up than a tight fighting game like DMC/NG though.

Demo was really fun. Definitely a day one rental like Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV.

is it basically the demo stuff over and over or does it mix it up by throwing fun elements in there?

Did you play the same Ninja Gaiden as the rest of us? ;)

Heck I think you may have surfed a rocket in NG at some point as well.  You definitely did things as ridiculous.
