I played some co-op last night with MAF and TVC, and it RULED motherfuckers like a tyrant. Some things that make it more awesome than the entire Wii lineup combined:

1. Lip-syncing. TVC's trooper was a black woman -- "she" was full of sass and "nuh-uh, oh no you di'n't" -- and watching the model's mouth move during the helicopter ride made me L-O-L. I looked like a Texan, and MAF was a baseball cap sporting mulatto who insisted on using only a pistol.

2. Ubisoft is so racist. Is there ever a point in either this game or GRAW where you don't gun down potential migrant workers?

3. The left trigger cover system is probably the best control innovation in this genre of gaming yet.

4. GUNPORN. The AK-47 is so so so so jizz-burstingly awesome. The first microburst of fire is so bloody accurate, and it pops virtual Mexiheads at medium range so precisely it's almost silly.

5. The graphics are gorgeous despite a few ugly textures here and there.

BUY THIS GAME. IT IS BETTER THAN GEARS OF WAR. IT IS PROBABLY BETTER THAN ZELDA. Xbox Live makes games like this double-plus fun!

I've got one question about the game before I buy.


I've heard the graphics take a hit in multiplayer, as they did with GRAW.  Does this apply to the co-op story mode?  How many people can play through the campaign together? 

I remember in the IGN video review that the multiplayer clips appeared to have significantly downgraded graphics.  Particularly a piece of the video that was from the casino.  In the single player it looked marvelous, but those multiplayer vids looked so meh.

My friend recently bought this -- we re-sealed Sonic and took it back to the store and replaced it with R6. If I get it off him or that wireless adapter arrives TOMORROW so I can play it from his house, maybe I can join in your co-op love fest too
