Shalit strikes me as this weird anachronism, who should have been doing guest spots on Match Game and the original Hollywood Squares. I know he's been around a while, but still.

...wait, check that. He's almost 83, which is crazy. He's older than Charles Nelson Reilly, and that guy's dead.

...double-reverse undo check that. Wikipedia says he's almost 77, which is still damn old, but younger than the imdb number. Which unreliable web source do I believe?

This is such an amazing idea. I'd be especially keen to having him talk us through the creation of his artistic set designs, Bob Ross style.

I think that's actually a good look for someone his age.

Giant fro + giant mustache + giant glasses = less area of uncovered oldman skin + very distracting visuals.

Mummy 3 looked terrible seeing how the trailer has Fraiser going "Here we go....AGAIN!". Sequels should never have that line, ever.
