This is pretty goddamned great. Five tracks in and I could already see myself liking this more than the first record.

It's officially out next week, I believe. There was a lower quality rip a few days ago but I skipped it waiting for a good version.

Ah, the Japanese version came out yesterday. I wonder how she kept it from leaking before release? That's kind of a miracle by itself.

Forgot to thank you for this, Kabul Shit is awesome! Definitely deserved to be in the album, and it sounds nothing like The Fear.

It does though, you can hear it clearly (when you know it?). The rhythm is exactly the same.
I agree with the fact that it isn't on the album, there's no sense in having two such similar songs on the album.

That being said, I think The Fear will be one of the best pop songs to come out this year and there was another song on the album that was really excellent too (name eludes me now).

True story- after a night of drinking three or four years ago in Atlanta we went back to someone's house party and Chan Marshall was there. She was kind of weird and moody, I didn't really recognize her at first.

I also ran into David Cross in 2005 when I was out drinking in Atlanta. It was a karaoke night and he went up and told jokes for five minutes while some cheesy butt rock song played.

Her very cutsey weird sing-songy stories with lots of britishisms she does about boys and going to clubs and stuff is done in such a way that makes her seem cute and makes me have a sort of crush on her, if she did the stereotypical type of pop music I doubt I wouldn't claim she was that good looking.
