Canada shed 129,000 jobs* in January. This is despite the fact that 31,000 health-care and social assistance sector jobs were added. This means private sector job losses were closer to 200,000.

Ontario, home to Canada's auto sector, lost 71,000 jobs.

*Because of the population difference, this would be the equivalent of America losing over one million jobs in a single month.

Can the wall be tall enough to block the cold air Canada is letting be blown on the northern US? It hasn't been above 23 degrees F for a couple days now. I'm sensing some canuck malice is involved.

At the job I had last year they have started losing contracts left and right and they are currently worried that they are going to loss their biggest one. 

And I wanted to go back to work there in the summer  :'(
