Holy shit! So, there I am sitting in a room undergoing training for my job (federal job so there are a bunch of people from around the country) and one of my co-workers asks a question about something we do in our region but the trainers said wasn't necessary.

Pretty fucking harmless right??????

NO!!!!!!!!


all of a sudden MY job is in jeopardy because "the people" from Phoenix are causing trouble (apparently we are now "cocky, arrogant, and undermining the trainers"). Not only do they call the manager of the entire region, but then he has to call my boss who has the day off who then text's me and asked "what the hell are you saying? shut up and keep your head down". Can't fucking wait to get back, it's going to be a fucking ball.

I don't even follow how you were involved other than being a co-worker in the same training session as the dude who asked a stupid question.  ???

this, this is pretty much it.

The bitch of it is, if the trainer had just fucking said something to my co-worker (or to me) this all would have been resolved without any drama. How naive I am to think that would ever happen

so, uh, should whatever the thing is be done or not, in your opinion?  anyway, this is a horrible situation, people shouldn't be pressured not to ask questions if they're legitimate.

My opinion? honestly, it doesn't matter if we do it in every "duty to assist" (DTA) letter, but it is mandatory in our DTA letters for when a veteran is making a claim for an increase in his/her benefits.

With that said. Why waste time doing it for every letter, especially when you have a quota to make? Even if it is not incorrect to do it.
