I just made plans to see it with my sister next Friday because Nikki would probably piss her pants at the sight of an arrow through the eye.

Thinking about it, the last movie I saw with my sister was Halloween.

Wouldn't miss it, though I may not see it on that Friday. Friday the 13th was one of the first horror films I saw when I little. The remake sounds like they're going the right direction with it. The only thing I wish it has is Manfredini's original score from 1 and 2, but I'm doubting it.

But Jason X totally didn't take itself seriously. I don't think you can really compare the two movies.

I'll probably see this, if not on opening weekend, then the week after.

One of my friends saw a free showing the other day and apparently walked out of it, claiming that even boobies couldn't save it. But then again he's probably the most negative person I know, so who knows? Anyway, I don't like modern horror stuff so I'm not seeing it.

I've never walked out of a movie. Why would you? It lasts an hour and a half and you paid like 10 bucks to get in, it can't be that terrible.

Movie was pretty fun. We were at the back of a really long line to see it, but we ended up getting the best seats in the house (first row of stadium seating with the foot rest bar -- right in the center of the row. AWESOME). It was a great way to relax after a few confusing weeks at work.

The movie was pretty fun. I still has some qualms that kept me from fully enjoying the flick on a first time viewing, namely Jablonsky's awful and generic score, shaky cam, fast editing, and a limp, missed opportunity ending. The biggest problem for me was that it was basically a roughly put together tribute of Friday's finer moments. This is not a bad thing since there hasn't been a "real" Friday film since Part 4, but none of those moments did anything better than the older films. The good thing is that it doesn't fuck with the mythology too much and in the end it still felt like a Friday the 13th film (sans the score). I'm sure with multiple viewings the movie will grow on me.

im watching a cam now. been watching parts 2 & 3 in the past couple weeks as well. whats the story on how jason got back alive? i just finished part 3 last night and he had an axe lodged in his head

also this movie is a nice surprise. i was thinking "wow these people sure are getting killed off fast" but it turns out that isnt even the movie's main group of kids, just a lead up story. awesome.
