i guess i'm one of the few who dig pitt in that footage, but the trailer itself is pretty bad--the tone, the music... it sort of looks pretty cheap.

and i didn't know b.j. novak was gonna be in it. i'm so not buying that smh

Tarantino is pretty good with clever "miscasting" -- I wouldn't write it off just for the folks involved. Can't do much for defending Pitt's speech in this trailer, though.

Story, Dialogue, action choreo. All superior in Vol 2.

I don't think any of his movies are actually bad. The closest I've come for disliking one of his films would probably be, like, the stuff with the over the top ghetto shit that black chick spits out until the part where she's fucking up Stuntman Mike in Death Proof.

Can't wait, Tarantino has yet to disappoint me. Death Proof was amazing and that got a lot of hate so fuck the haters of Basterds.

And yes Mike Myers is in it, the role was written for Simon Pegg but he dropped out cause he had to do another movie.

Tarantino doesn't do good trailers. This isn't news. I'll keep the faith, although I find some of the casting questionable, even for tarantino.
