I'm not a chicken fan unless it's fried... grilled just doesn't taste right. And I'm a creature of habit. It sucks sometimes. I find one thing and stick to it. But I've gotta try soon.
And while I do enjoy Subway, I get pretty much the most unhealthy thing there.
lol. I know the feeling. Trust me, At the end of last year I was getting overweight really badly due to eating habits, not drinking enough water, and being in a desk job and not working out like I should. I made a New Years Resolution to lose weight and eat better. Since then, I haven't drank a Coke or such since the New Year. Just water, milk, orange juice, and an occasional sports drink. Doing that, working out, and eating better has led me to 22 pounds lost so far. A few more months of this and I should be in as good a shape as I was coming out of the military.
If I can do it, you can do it man. Its a mental thing mainly. You have to be committed. Just set a goal to drink less Tea/Coffee/Coke/etc as a start. Maybe drink a glass/bottle of water in its place. Start with what you can handle. I went cold turkey, but not everyone can. Then, start cutting back even more on the carbonated/caffeinated drinks until you mainly drink water. OJ or Milk in the morning is good too. Get a workout plan setup. Have realistic goals you know that YOU can achieve. Then make yourself go through with it. I seen around 30 people join the same gym I did to lose weight. Alot of them, like me, really needed to. Of those, about 5 are left. Most gave up because they didn't set a realistic goal they could reach. That and they had too many excuses to not go work out. Too much homework. Too tired from work. Forgot to go up there. The first week made me hurt too bad. Don't be like those. Stick with it, and eventually you want to work out. It makes you feel good. Sure it hurts for the first few workouts, but thats your body trying to handle the workload you haven't been putting on it in a long time. Get past that and you have a good chance to keeping at it.
