why do people knowingly invite that shit into their lives?  and i hate the people that seem to bask in it as if it somehow makes their lives more important/exciting than everyone else's

I think some people thrive on it.  If there's not something going wrong they're bored or something.

I like to keep life hassle-free, as much as possible.

I don't understand how some people thrive on it, either.

Ecro's sister seems to pretty much invite it into her life. There's always a fight in her group of friends it seems. I couldn't have those kind of friends, it would drive me batty.

My mum doesn't fight but she gets worried over insignificant things, and will tend to point out the downsides to any given situation.  So she sees far more drama in situations than I do.

I can't stand it, but I think it's partially because she grew up in WWII and they lost everything.  Obviously things like that can profoundly change your view of life.

Some people love drama because it enriches their otherwise, boring, go-nowhere lives.
