Wish this was a remake or a new sequel. I take it this is going to be brought out by Backbone and coated with lovely filters?

i know. played GSH on the gba for a bit but never got too far cause of the incredibly annoying shmup level. you get this huge ship to fly in and almost no space to maneuver, totally hated that bit

I would buy Sonic 3 if it was the true Sonic 3 (Sonic the Hedgehog 3 + Sonic & Knuckles) and they spruced it up a bit.

The Sonic 3 rom is 3 MB and throw in an emulator and it is about 5-6 MB

So what is the other 25 or so MB going towards?

I wonder why they never did a Sega Ages release for any of the Sonic games.  All spruced up with a million options and stuff for I dunno, the biggest title Sega ever had seems like it would be nice.  I'm guessing it was a business decision to not compete with the yearly Sonic rom dump collections :\

Damn, that would be pretty cool. Well it's not like Sega Ages has been discontinued, so maybe some day.

It's a lot like how LucasArts never released a Star Wars adventure game back in the early 90s when they could take a shit and it would be a good game.
