Bristol Palin gives an interview. What do you guys(and gals) think?

Bristol quickly answered that she didn't want to get into specifics. The best option is abstinence, the teen said, but added that she didn't think that was "realistic."

She was quick to get away from that one.

There is a clip of the interview in the article , but the whole thing is on Fox News so I doubt you guys will go seek it out there.

I think this whole interview is supposed to try to make Bristol an information source on teen pregnancy prevention. I guess.

Palin's family--her separatist husband; her drop-out, druggie son; and her pregnant whore-daughter--were all very relevant just a few months ago and may be relevant again in three years.

I'll click on any thread, so that's hardly indicative of any care. And I sincerely doubt that this family will ever be "relevant" again, outside of this type of coverage. No matter what news media would have wanted people to believe, it's not like they were actually ever relevant to the political struggle, at least not beyond the torpedo potential of every skeleton that escaped the closet.

I had absolutely no problem abstaining through my teenage years (and 20s, modulo a couple of lapses), I don't know what's wrong with these other people.

Palins lack of respect of school annoyed me so much last year. She defended her son dropping out saying "it wasn't for him" and now the daughter dropped out. And the youngest skipped school for 3 months during the Election (Obama girls didn't miss a day).

It is shocking that an elected official can totally blow off our educational system and get no flack from her own side.

my comment was aimed more at the general "LEAVE BRISTOL ALONE" camp and while i get what they're doing, and even what they're trying to do and while it would be great to be able to have an honest discussion of teen pregnancy, i don't know if i trust the constantly disingenuous right-wing media to be lead that discussion.
