I see people bitching all over the internet about this. I think they're answering questions, but they're not beating you over the head with the answers. I thought last night's episode was brilliant.

Yeah i loved the episode aswell, i think it will come off even better when we see the two-hour finale. :D another interesting thing, is this season overall will probably be much better paced and told via dvd, since theres alot of stuff that was cut in this part of the season, and i think the DVDs are going to include all the deleted scenes, it's also already confirmed that the finale will have a longer length on dvd. :)
One thing i forgot about, is most of the questions probably wont be answered untill the two hour 'the plan' movie' that's suppose to air a few months after the finale apparently.

I think people who watch the show for the mythology are barking up the wrong tree. Lost is a show you watch for the mythology. Battlestar Galactica is a show about characters way, way before it's a show about mythology. Now, some of those things are intertwined, but by and large one of them is a sugar-coated candy treat and the other is an actual meal.

The show didn't even go really deep into it's mythology till season 3 anyway, i still think the show should more balanced in it's mythology \ character-driven arcs, i think the daniel episode is where they really got that part right. Perfect combination of mythology and character development.

i don't like how so much stuff is gonna be crammed into the finale... show was rushed obviously

also not sure about the Hera angle being the main climax for the series... they didn't mention it for a while, or at least it wasn't given the spot light, and then all of a sudden it's the whole show

hey

I'm about 1/4th of the way through S3 and I'm finding myself hating pretty much every major character other than Baltar, Roslin, and daddy Adama. It's really making some of the slower episodes unbearable.

Season 3 is by far the weakest season of the show, after they leave New Caprica it really drags for a while. It picks up steam for Season 4 which is one of the best seasons of the series.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed that they left the planet so soon. When the Cylons aren't involved, stuff seems to get reeeeeeally boring.

Yeah, they kinda shot their load for Season 3 on those first few episodes. But OMG, those episodes were so good.

New Caprica was arguably the peak of the series, regardless of the episodes that followed.
