Surprise ending.  I feel bad for the guy - he seems to know a lot about cinema, so he can't be completely oblivious to his position on the director scale.

he recently moved into a new house. apparently the housing market in germany am fucked so he got it recently cheap. oh man diunx, you are missing out.

It doesn't really get any better and the ending is just...nothing. Literally nothing. I mean, I love the world that the movie portrays and the story, but it just goes nowhere.
