Seriously. It's like a "What if Heavenly Sword was awesome?" alternate reality. Yes, QTE's up the whazoo, who cares, they are fun, and the normal combat is very God of War esque, but the game is like an Anime Japa Ninja Scroll craze kind of shit, with monsters and shit, and it's freaking epic, with some weird Matrix like Music, and crazy ass stunts, and buildings falling down and shit.

The whole 1st mission was awesome. It's like, the game is super corny, super cheesy, and it's not even a great action game, but still, it manages to be some off the charts shit.

Played the 1st mission. EB will probably piss on this game.

Played the first mission for a few minutes and didn't like it. But I'm planning to give more attention to it soon.

I also hated Otogi at first, but ended loving it.

the demo was pretty awful, later videos of it looked entertaining. If it really is coming on the 15th, I'll probably pass.

Gamestop lists it as April 7th with nothing else coming out around that time. I'll probably pick it up now.

Anyway. Mission Three, fucking awesome. I was riding a bike through the skies, on top of buses and shit, amazing. And the bosses, goddamn, they are huge.

And the engine of this game is pretty impressive, considering the massive scale.

Finished it yesterday,total awesomeness.

Seriously,if anybody is looking full-action packed,super crazy stunts game with the most badass ninja ever(he can throw buildings,stop big passenger planes,etc) look no further.
You even get an achievement for watching ending credits.

Really? The demo stoked you out? When I compared "played games" with you, I thought we had more similar tastes. Ninja Blade is one of the rare games I'd not even pick up for Achievements even if I found it for free.

I think it'll be a semi-fun diversion at least, especially when the price drops. The first time I played I got pretty frustrated with the controls, QTEs etc., but I eventually got used to it. When I went back I'm pretty sure I was completely drunk off my ass and blasting Telefon Tel Aviv while playing the demo, so that may have changed things.

the combat with the normal monsters get old and boring fast but thankfully they aren't many and almost all stages are about fighting 3 or so bosses + QTEs heaven.

so if you like fighting bosses, QTEs and over the top cutscenes then this game is for you.

yeah, normal combat isn't deep like DMC or NG, it's more of hack and slash tbh.

the normal sword can get pretty cheap btw, just hold guard button + X and watch any human sized monsters/bosses get their guard fucked though i don't remember on what level it was unlocked.

Modern QTE sequences are so much more intuitive than Dragon's Lair, though. Don't pretend as if they are exactly the same. Reacting to a button prompt is very different from guessing which button to press every couple of seconds.

I was looking at your games on your gamertag earlier. Do you really own all those games are you sell them off/borrow some of them? It shows that you have every game that I have except for about 4 and a shitload more, but you've hardly played most of them.

edit: this shit works on any monster, level 4 sword is unstoppable beast.
