Why do the females sign their messages with xxx?

So many times when I get a message from a female (hardly), she signs with xxx...why aren't the females that easy in real life?  :-* Or are they?  :'(

Not familiar with that signature.  xoxo--hugs and kisses--is more common with females in my experience.  But that's still very rare as well.

basically, it's a sign that indicates her level of obnoxious extroversion. more than three x's indicates a hyperenthusiastic ur-flirt that needs a clam shovel to the face.

I'm pretty sure I've seen it like that.  The idea of an X on the eyes is to say that it's expressionless and closed.  Which I would guess works with cartoon mouths.  I was mostly just trying to make a cold-packing joke tho.
