I just watched Chinatown

Pretty damn good neo noir, I must say. Great ending, and definitely not predictable. I loved the entire style, from the credits at the beginning to obvious film noir references (a venetian blinds reference at the very beginning).

The ending was kinda shocking, since I was expecting a femme fatale... which is one of the reasons I fucking loved it. Good deal.

Yeah, The Two Jakes.  It's actually decent, but compared against Chinatown, the dropoff in quality is pretty huge.  We're talking Caddyshack 2 big.

Chinatown is one of my favorite films of all-time.

Awesome movie. I love the atmosphere of it. And yea, the ending left my mouth open

plus it has the funniest "man-slapping-woman" scene of all time
