Chromehounds is made by From Software, just published by Sega though.

I'm sure CH2 is coming.  From likes sequels, especially ones with mechs.

CH2 better be coming. From likes making shitty Armored Core sequels, but hopefully someone, somewhere will wise up and give us what we want.

Never played any VO games, and I consider myself a (former) SEGA fanboy  :gloomy

Take one part Armored Core and throw away all the tech crap.  Mix vigorously with 2 parts of Street Fighter.  Crank the speed up to 11 and add some insane j-pop techno music.  Serve with a dual joystick.

That's VOOT.

Was probably time to move on?  The games sold well enough to pay for the licensing, so it wasn't that.  Maybe From felt like a trilogy was enough and it was time to make new games?

I think they'll go back to it eventually.  Depends on how big their studio gets as they are doing a lot of projects these days.

Well it's official, Sega are now doing something right. The Cyber Troopers are returning.

In the latest Famitsu Magazine, Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram has been confirmed for the Xbox Live Arcade - and only the Xbox Live Arcade it seems.

The Robot arena fighter will be getting a complete conversion over to the XBLA using V5.66 - the very final version released in the arcades. V5.66 was released after the Dreamcast version, and instead of using Sega's Model-3 arcade board was instead using the easier to use Naomi board used for games like Crazy Taxi and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. This version featured 3 additional Cyber Troopers as well as all the arenas added in the Dreamcast version.

The game looks to be a full update of the game, including wide screen support and online play over Xbox Live. It is planned for an April release for 1,200 Microsoft Points.

For an updated DC game with online play it's a normal price.  Sega Ages Virtual On was $20 and didn't have online play! (though it had nice packaging and emu options and extras).

I'm not a big fan of this game but I'll get it if it means Sega will stop constantly re-releasing their Genesis shit and start putting out more Model 2, Model 3, and Naomi re-releases.

It's got online play, and it'll probably control well with the X360's dual sticks. What's not to like?  :-*

They increase the XBLA file limit, you get more intensive games, they're gonna raise the price.

I don't know the sizes for most PSN games for comparison
