I was playing a match with Disposable White Guy, shut the console off, go get something to eat, come back to beat him up using Gouken and THE ENTIRE SAVE FILE IS GONE. What the hell!

wasn't there a save bug in the PS2 version of the one of the Viewtiful Joe games? I seem to remember Capcom's egged face at the time.

maybe it has to do with the last OS update? my last system died a few weeks ago because firmware was screwy and wasn't able to turn on when a hard drive was connected.

willco, I can just suggest backing up all of your saves to something else and calling MS to see if they have other people with the same problem.

I would probably just unlock Fei Long again, ignore the rest if my save got deleted. I remember wanting to return Smash Bros Melee back in the day when I accidentally the save and thought I'd need to jump through the hoops unlocking shit again. Thankfully this was on a last gen system when trading save data was as easy as going to a friends house and copying the same.

I had to do it a second time after I got the PS3 version. It was actually pretty easy by that point, plus I didn't fuck around and just set it to easiest/one round and flew through it. It really isn't that bad other than getting Seth since it's just tedious.
