Why are Libertarian girls terrible? Facebook search yielded one cute girl and one decent girl in my whole school.
Consider it a funny pet theory, but I think Libertarianism attracts homely and unattractive people since moreso than conservatism and liberalism, it preaches merit and skill above anything else.
I think fringe philosophies just tend to attract people who feel alienated or socially isolated. Libertarianism, communism, religious fundamentalism (in an unpopular religion), whatever. If someone is generally comfortable with the status quo, they won't want to make radical changes to the social/economic system that produces it. Always more males than females, to boot.
One of the most socially inept people I hung out with was a soi-disant communist.
