So, i yes, the game is out therez. And yes, i'm now in the Jack Sparrow's camp, because there's a world out there where i don't have goooold.

Anyway, fuck them, it's not like Nintendo isn't already running this whole thing to the ground, so whatever. This game looks like the tits. Goddamn, the graphics are amazing, i mean what? This game looks better than Gears of War 2, easy. And the controls? Dude what's up with the hate? Controls are better than they were in RES4. Only beef i have is with the knife, that thing should be a one button only maneuver.

The cutscenes? MGS4 owned so bad. Loving the game. Cee ya laterz

I'm just waiting for PS3/360 comparisons made with the final game.

I want to buy the 360 version, but the fellow I'm going to play the game in CO-OP with wants the PS3 version. I'm sure the 360 version will be better, but I'd like a proper run down before it hits.

Wow, the game is actually pretty good so far. And it looks amazing.

But you can not share ammo in parts. That's so gay. I thought Capcom would fix that...
It's so annoying that I have to give all of my ammo when I want to share.

I'm watching the stream and

grenade launcher 12 rounds a pick up
sniper rifle 10 rounds a pickup
handgun 5 rounds a pickup

there is also like 3x as much rifle ammo as anything else it's really weird

also shiva has died 4x she seems dumb as dogshit

I never really found any RE I played to be particularly scary. Atmospheric, yes. But not scary.

Whoever said it was supposed to be scary in the first place? It's "survival horror." Surviving the horror...in other words, dealing with all kinds of nasties and getting to the end. Like any other action/adventure game.

I was scared the most by RE4, but not in a creeped out way like Silent Hill. Just my dread of going on, thinking I have to take on fuckin' Regenerators $:-\$

Scary wasn't the best word, no. Tense is a better word.

I'd say the first few RE games were more tense. The first few RE games had much smaller environments with not way to run.

The environments in RE4 and RE5 (so far) are more open. And that kills the tension imo.

Well, the demo for RE5 was easy as fuck. I'm thinking of playing RE5 on hard mode the first time to make things more tense.

I find RE4 more tense because the enemies are persistent. They continuously follow you through the area. Hide in a house? They bust open the door. There's no place to run. That's why I think RE4 is more than anything in RE1-3. They took Mr. X and Nemesis and applied them to normal enemies.

Yeah, I've never really found RE games scary, but they definitely have awesome atmospheres.

The only survival horrors I can recall being anything like scary were the Fatal Frames (mostly because the first one had backward controls I think

). Siren was unsettling too, but I didn't play very far into it.

I'm like 2h30 in, playing with the D controller style.

It's amazing how approachable this game is if you play it on amateur, Capcom got it completely right with the differences in difficulty setting. Playing it on normal will be the standard fare for RES4 fans.

Anyway, i already fought a cool boss, sheva has been a great help actually, and she makes the story more engaging, because you don't feel alone.

Anyway, graphics continue to be amazing, but the levels are incredibly small imo. It's fun, it's not RES4 fun, i don't think it's paced as well, but still. And the cut scenes are, again, amazing.

Well, no. At least not yet. What i've seen, all looks, like pretty professional, hollywood style directing, less talk more action kind of stuff.
