That demo was fuckin garbage. They should have just put Butcher Bay playable so people arent duped into playing the shitty sequel

There was barely any awesome stealth in it. The entire demo was a FPS poopfest. Then the actual stealth part they put you in was horribly put together. Ugh. And it has shitty multiplayer too. Fuck Green Man.

Well, XBL is acting up again. First it wouldn't connect at all but after I finally made a connection I'm seeing a bunch of generic box images in the menus instead of the normal box art that we usually get. Unable to download too. I'm getting some sort of retrieval error. *sigh*

Maybe it's because it's been so long since I played Butcher's Bay but the graphics in the demo didn't seem all that much different than the Xbox game, albeit in higher res.

And I agree with everyone here, the demo really sucked. Not not a good represention of Riddick at all. Still day one though.

well, maybe it's not a good representation of Butcher Bay, but it could be how Dark Athena plays; every video of Dark Athena I've seen so far made it seem like a shooter. Best part about the package is that you know you're still getting the great Butcher Bay, and if Dark Athena sucks, at least you have one great game in the two-game package.

These are the achievements. I used the trophies because it has the secret ones listed. They're all story related it looks like. I'll get all the single player ones and send it back. Look how shitty these multiplayer ones are.

Not a big surprise. Athena was supposed to be a 1-2 hour "bonus" on the Riddick remake. Then they "expanded" it to 5-6 hours, which probably just means lots of padding it out. They've said Athena is not Riddick 2, so expectations are set at mediocre expansion padded out to near full game length.

Plus this is the team that brought us the mess that was The Darkness. Whatever great team they had last gen is gone, and the new Starbreeze is lol.

Still, will buy for Butcher Bay in HD with achievements.

Its pretty good. But, something feels off with how he moves. Almost like he's in water up to his waste or something. I'll probably rent it at some point. The dialouge is terrible though.

No, he's right. The game looks decent enough but Riddick's model is horrible and probably the same one as the Xbox game.

Wanted was terrible. Shitty HUD and there was no fucking need to use any of the abilities since the level was so fucking small and terrible. I expected wall runs and wicked shooting. This is just, it's like that bourne game basically.

a really uggly boring version of the bourne game. The bourne game looks way better imo

but hey this has a pussy mode.

Some of the textures are a little eh when you get close but I like the overall look. I missed out on Riddick on the Xbox, but I really enjoyed the demo - the stealth aspect is awesome. I'll definitely buy it.
