my favorite DS mic use so far has been occasionally yelling "Objection!" or "Hold it!(or Told It, or Fold It, or Sold It, or Boll-lit, etc.) into my Phoenix Wright game instead pressing a button. That could be a game, where you're awarded points for best interpretive gibberish.

I should clarify. This particular request isn't for a standalone game. Rather just something additional to utilize the mic in some interesting fashion.

Personally I wouldn't implement such a feature myself, but sadly it's a decision from the higher ups. :/

I haven't played many DS games, but how you used it to blow away clouds in Yoshi Touch and Go was pretty cool. Except when you bumped the DS and the clouds all disappeared. :'(

I'm going to be honest, the DS's microphone is the most gimmicky thing included with the DS and developers should be banned from using it. Nothing good can come from the thing.

Nintendogs has the only good use of the mic in the entire catalouge. Electroplankton too. Don't use it for gameplay otherwise, except for voicechat. Come to think of it, if they ever make an Animal Crossing DS sequel I'd love it if they used it for further customization, maybe for the town tune at least.

Good news, my submission seemed to go pretty well. I didn't ~~steal~~ use anyone's direct ideas here, but Yeti's suggestion was pretty close.

LTTP, but how about a Lunar Lander type game where the amount of thrust was controlled by blowing into the mic? It should be trivial to detect the amount of volume, or at least changes in volume from the blowing "noise."
