Seriously tho, I met those guys at the airport a little while after Aristocrats came out. Penn at first seemed like he was doing the usual "annoyed celebrity covering it to not cause a scene thing" but then when I mentioned the flick he brightened up and we had a good five minute conversation about stuff.

Like I said, if this shit sold two million records over here you'd consider this generic emo-esque punk tripe. It's just as simplistic as most of the American tripe on the radio. At least be consistant with your snobby tastes people

Emo-esque? How the fuck is this emo at all? They've been doing music since the early 90s. It's all power pop.

I've never had a problem with catchy rock and pop music. The Dandy Warhols specialize in it. They put out excellent singles. You're just hating.

At least you admit you're into a lot of various poppy stuff - but other people seem to think their musical tastes are somehow better than the "dumb" masses when in reality their favorite band is still playing the same shitty couple chords as everyone else.
