Humans are primates. And you accept humans evolved. Thus you accept they evolved from something. Being that they are primates, what else could they evolve from.

When it comes to evolution you can't really take out the ape part. It's part of the package.

I strongly disagree, but I won't bother to get into semantics with you further than this.  It's not an ape because it is the progenitor of both the ape and human lines.  By that logic, semantically the common ancestor is just as much modern human as it is modern ape, and we certainly don't say that humans evolved from humans.
