It's kinda funny how everything falls apart if you get more than 1 sub-saharan Africa question per round.

I'm going to play a bit more.  This is actually pretty fun.

Small countries (until level 7 when they stop showing borders) and American cities pad stats.  I think the Netherlands saved me twice.

I just got 8319.  I knew I was done when the borders disappeared, but I still managed to get close to level 8.  Again, good game, but I keep getting Africa-fucked.  I swear they are just making up countries in Africa.  Who the fuck ever heard of South Africa?

See, this is the real tragic legacy of colonial partitioning.  I've got the north African countries down, and a general idea of which ones are on the west and east, but the middle and south just murder me.

Seems I have no idea where anything in the US is.  I generally picked the wrong coast. :lol

I was just thinking about how impossible USA must be to foreigners. As a cruel trick, they should make "Springfield, USA" as one of the selections.

Catassing all those grognard strategy games has given you a few points on at least one of your skill trees, I see.

It's probably similar to me dealing with Australia.  I know there are like 4 major cities, and I know 3 of them are basically on the eastern coast, but beyond that, I am just blindly stabbin'.

For me it's China. Such a huge glob of nothingness and no idea where their ridiculously named cities are. With Russia, at least, most of their cities are in the western part.

Agreed on both.  Other bad ones that comes up frequently are cities in Brazil, but that largely seems to be a case of pick a spot on the coast and pray.

I got Tokyo, Japan twice during this round, that's a bit weird. Got hard when the borders were removed.

5439. Not too spectacular, but it did make me happy when I got Hamburg, Germany with 0 distance in tolerance.

I got that vibe as well, if only to make everyone mad that the true price of colonialism is making Africa a quiz game nightmare.

OMG I'm geographically distinguished mentally-challenged...I never had any idea. I even used to love spinning the family globe and seeing where I'd land.

Yeah, I sucked hard at Africa unless it was Egypt, South Africa or Madagascar.  That's about all I know.

That's good to know. So in getting to level 8 a few times I guess I'm not too bad! A lot of it is guessing, though.

When I was young I had a huge map of the world hanging in my bedroom. Maybe I need one of those again.

 8)

level 7/8129 is my best yet, after a pathetic amount of tries. Nailing it just right for the multiplier is so ridiculously important, not really liking that.
