I've always felt ignore lists were the ultamite baby signs. I can understand someone not liking another person's posts, but in that case you simply ignore what they say and refuse to respond to them. Clearly Cornelius and others could never get to this higher plane of understanding.

No one is going on my ignore list ever. But alas, I won't be paying much attention to the more incitive posts. Himuro was right

I don't use ignore lists either, but some people requested it and I don't see the harm in adding something like this.

Drinky, I can try to implement that. It should be possible, or at the very least remove the ignore message altogether and just have a blank box where their post would be. I'll play around with it.

The ignore feature is essential to keeping active moderation down. If we dont use ignore I start banning people more often and locking more threads. Simple as that.

Good: Corny and Triumph will quit their bitching, and maybe post something valuable

Bad: You can't just ignore every post, or there really won't be a forum to surf.

I'm not ignoring anyone, but I'm glad we have the feature.

Honestly, I don't think people are going to ignore a lot of users here, because there aren't a lot of people who make utterly worthless posts on the whole. I do, however, think that Shake will probably be on the vast majority of user's lists. In fact, let us know when he's getting unbanned MAF so we can do a Welcome Home Shake Thread. Finally, please no one quote that taint licking waste of flesh.

I think that EvilBore should offer ignoring Dark Shake as a default option to new users. Posters will have to "opt-in" to read his posts.
