PD's nightly diary
« on: March 09, 2009, 11:05:50 PM »
I sit here trying to type why my roommate's car pumps bass at obscene volume levels. Apparently he's just in the car listening to music, has been for 5 minutes. It's 10PM here, this is ridiculous. I'll never understand why people do that, but you know what's worse: dumbasses who have the fucking loudest ring tones, which go off in class. It last for a few seconds, just enough time to disturb class but certainly not enough time to justify the ring tone cost. smh

I'm digging Pitchfork's site update. Each review includes a music player that allows you to listen to entire songs - nice. Right now I'm listening to this Neko Case album. I'm gonna have to download it, sounds pretty damn good. Card Cheat's music taste is second to none :bow

I just saw this:

Niice. So, the show could debut in Fall 2010 assuming the pilot is picked up. I'm definitely hyped for this, and even more so for Dance With Dragons. Martin's blog updates have me feeling confident and a bit sympathetic for his plight. No matter when the book comes out it's going to rock faces

PD, do you want some help setting up a LiveJournal account? I promise I'll read it.

And I promise I won't.

I never understood this.

Is this the ho call in the wild? Do they not realize that they infuriate people 10 times more than they would like to think appreciates it?

It'd be nice if someone could explain this as I don't get it either.  I think they just like to let everyone know that they're there - some inferiority complex or something.

whiteface

I usually go to bed listening to something like Fiona Apple or Sade. It's so strange when you wake up and realize you're listening to music. I start wondering when I stopped processing the music and at what point did I consciously begin hearing it again. The thrill I get with this is shock is like drugs or something
