A shame to anyone who plays; what does that put the number of servers at now?

On a totally unrelated note, I'd like to see how the current financial climate is affecting the juggernaut known as WoW because I can't fathom that they are still pulling in new people at this point, and the real question would be is anyone who has been in the game for 2+ years willing to pull out even for a short time to save some cash...

WoW is still bringing new servers online. They added a new one last month.

Servers are overrated, I want to be on one huge server with a million people.

WoW is actually a really good way to avoid the recession.  For the price of the monthly fee you can have several hours of entertainment.  The affects it has one some people's personal lives for playing it are generally detrimental, but from strictly a price/hr it's hard to do much better.

Good point. Hundred bucks a year, a low-end rig, and an internet connection and you have almost an endless play experience
