These little daily show feuds are a pathetic attempt for the daily show to remain relevant. It's so easy for Jon to point to other people and say hey why aren't you doing your job, it's your job to do that. And then when he is confronted his response is "well, this is a comedy show."

I thought Jon made a good effort to explain his problem with CNBC, which Cramer has unfortunately become the face of in recent days. This really should've been Jon Stewart vs. Rick Santelli, but Cramer had to do.

Cramer was pathetic. Here's the thing though, if you're gambling money in the stock market, then it bahooves you not to pay attention to any old blowhard on TV. Do the research yourself. I realize that being on CNBC elevates his supposed credibility. But, that doesn't mean he's the be all end all. CNBC is a daily contradiction anyway. I have it on all day in the office and I can't tell you how many fund managers they have on everyday who's sole purpose is to get on TV to tell people to BUY BUY BUY. I recently read somewhere that something like only 7% of all stocks were given the "sell" rating last year.

I kind of feel bad for Cramer.

He's nothing more than a hyperactive buffoon who rode the wave of the stock market, pretending he was privy to secrets. He would always be fine as long as the stock market generally trended upwards. Now that the Dow is down about 60% from that moment, it is pretty easy to tell he didn't really know shit at any point in time.
