I'm being put on suspension. I got notified today. On my fucking day off.

They didn't send me the fucking paperwork that I needed to apply for a major that they ALWAYS fucking send me, so I was waiting for the paperwork. I'm so fucking pissed right now.

I've been trying to get an independent major approved for a few semesters, and I finally resigned to apply for the theatre major. Of course, they send the paperwork usually in February. I was pretty sure that Snowmageddon would have delayed the papers, so I wasn't too worried about the deadline. I didn't even know of a deadline because I wasn't notified.

This is after getting put on social probation for having an illegal vehicle on campus during Christmas break when I wasn't even on campus, which I couldn't appeal. At least I can appeal this one. If my appeal isn't accepted on Thursday, then I have two days to move out.

college bureaucracy sucks. one time i had to drop a class after drop/add period. they make you get like 9 signatures from various deans/professors who are never in their office within a 24 hour period.

If I could go back full time, I'd do it in a second. Probably for neuropsychology, which is like the most interesting field evar.

Maybe criminal psychology, but while it's an interesting field, I have some philosophical qualms about considering a person a criminal in a somewhat pathological sense, and that seems to be a ground level thing you have to accept.

My grandpa was a Criminal Justice/Sociology professor at Seattle University. He was even the warden at Washington State Pen. in Walla Walla for a time in the early 80s. I'm sure you'd love talking with him.

Well, the appeal didn't go too well. One half of it I felt like I was owning the committee. They asked me a question and I definitely pointed out something they might have overlooked that might come in handy later, whereas some questions made me feel like I walked in with my pants around my ankles. I should know tomorrow or Wednesday. If not, I'm going to get a job immediately and start computer shopping (since i have to give back my free one)

College was fun. The problem is that they drill it into you in high school that college is the end all, be all requirement of adult success, which is far from the truth. Plus, at lot of kids just look at college as high school 2.0, basically extending their adolescence and immaturity 'cause mommy and daddy will come to their rescue at trouble's notice. I met a lot of big babies in college.

Well, thanks to him, I now have one of the cleanest 360 controllers ever. Looks brand new after cleaning off the aftermath of what he did.

I'm also celebrating tonight. Hooters Wings Wednesday and dollar drafts. Then, when I'm good and drunk, I'm switching to energy drinks and pulling an all-nighter to slay the workload I've built up the past week trying to not get kicked out.
