I already rocked through Mega Man ZX once, but I'm playing through again, along with replaying Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow during FFIII breaks. There is only so much grinding a man can do in a two hour period.

continuing Suikoden V after a five months-long hiatus

damn that shit's corny

and basically done with Final Fantasy XII, that's the best RPG I've played in years and potentially the game of this generation for me

some people don't dig the real-time battles and the mature, laid-back story but I'm absolutely charmed by FF12 and loved every minute of it

and BOY is it well translated! everything is a joy to read!

meh, don't feel like persisting with that one

it gets so stale, and the characters are so cold

it's the same pattern over and over again-- arrive in a new town, buy stuff, level grind, explore a dungeon, watch a few meh cutscenes... and the whole process begins anew

there's SO little variety in the gameplay, it's like wtf

Did you ever beat Julius mode? It rocked so much. I think I might have enjoyed it more than the actual game.

Right now Im playing Earthbound and Im back into Advance Wars DS. Jesus it would take forever to get all the medals in that game.

Still trudging through FF12 and about to wrap up my first play through of VP2. In FF12, what I've been doing is just grinding for a couple of hours per day with all my characters, gaining 2-4 levels per day for everyone, in the hopes that when I sit down in a day or two with a pizza and a couple bottles of soda, I can just run through the rest of the game in one sitting. Just about to get to the Empire in the story.

I'm seriously pondering picking up a DS lite and a shit ton of FF games, like, I don't know, I-V.

I beat Resistance on the PS3 yesterday, that is why I moved on to Genji II. I am trying to focus a bit more, so I stick with Genji till I beat it. Unless MGS:PO is really good

I don't have the full version of Battlefield 2142, but it seems like most everyone has given a giant THUMBS DOWN to that piece of dook. At least that's what I gather based off of postings on various message boards, and we all know that represents the absolute truth. And the fact that, like you said, BF2 still has an extraordinary amount of people still playing it. I wished UT2K4 still had that many people playing it after a year and a half

Wave race is BOMB, once you develop some skills it plays like buttah. Can't believe I dismissed this game so many times. Enjoying SRT a lot as well, but I have a thing for robots and strat rpgs

Yup yup. WR:BS is just awesome. Love the weather effects, the variety of the courses, the graphics are beautiful, and it's a pretty deep game. Most people just pass it off as a poor rehash of the 64 version, but it's very different in some ways.

Holding off on finishing the big games (zelda, ffxii) till after finals - I know, pathetically late. I also plan on playing Planescape over break if that makes up for anything.
