I passed that solo on my first try without leaving the green on the rock meter. And I'm not that great a plastic guitarist.

The ho-po mechanics are ridiculously loose and terrible.

I'd rather just wait (for a long time :/) for the 13 Metallica songs coming to RB.

I'll put it this way: if that song was in Rock Band, where you actually have to hit the ho-pos, I would've barely made it through. GH and its shitty engine makes everything a lot easier.

I'm not that bad. I finished the other games on Expert. Just those wacky solos make my fingers turn to spaghetti. Triplets and the such, and I didn't have any SP available.

To be fair they're not charting double base.

Wait, there's that double bass add-on for RB and HMX said they'd make an official announcement about it too. HMX's GDC panel is on Friday, aka DLC announcement day, they announce the Metallica megapack with double bass support, and it goes up against GH Metallica. They're supposedly making an announcement there anyway.
