So I'm coming down with a massive fever, I can feel the right side of my head being pressurized by what feels like the arse of hippo raping a crocodile. I can't hear well, and I'm sure this is the last night my health is intact, before the week of pain and sorrow that is to follow.

So this got me wondering, how does fever actually originate? I mean, how does the cold make us feverish. I always thought bacteria prefered warmer climates. So why does my body react like this?

P.S

Your fluids will not help me in anyway, so don't offer me bro rape.

Yeah, I've been lethargic for the past few days and I actually feel worse right now. Guess that's the opposite of what I should have done. Hopefully I go to Defcon: Delirious so I can finish reading my book while wacked out, then bounce back quickly.

I haven't been sick in over 6 months at least. Maybe if I send you some of my DNA you could be sickness free too.

I was like this too. I haven't been sick since 1 year total, all the way through the winter. Now, my body is paying for it.

I had a 102 degree temperature from Monday-Thursday. It sucked.

Theraflu helped, but it tasted awful.

I went to the gym just an hour ago even though I feel horrible. Almost passed out, went home, collapsed into bed. I feel the need to take the biggest shit.

iirc, higher temperatures boost immune system activity.
