They aren't even comparable. Roald Dahl's stories have actual substance and structure w/chapters and the such. Where The Wild Things Are is, like, five sentences long with illustrations that are meant to draw the reader in visually.
This is my point. It's going to be a movie where scenes are like 10-15 minute long with a single line of dialog very picturesque and some nice background music. It'll be a critical sucess.

Does anyone remember the name of that one book that was all about a girl dealing with event in weird math or logic puzzle based ways? one of them was her dad saying to listen to her mother, then the mother saying that the dad always lies.  That book was awesome.
